TO GREAT EFFECT is woven in an environmentally friendly mill on the outskirts of the town of Kent, Scotland. The fibers needed to weave this textile are grown on grass fed sheep that are neither intensively reared nor fed antibiotics.

We finish TO GREAT EFFECT using dyes and chemicals that are approved and non-hazardous to the environment. In fact, the effluent from our finisher is so pure that it ends up being discharged into the river Tweed, one of Scotland’s finest salmon fishing rivers.

We do not add moth proof treatment, which is hazardous to the environment -- as well as to the moths.

Understanding that wool is the ultimate biodegradable, renewable and recyclable product is a continual badge of honor for this product.
